Scottish Football Association Dismisses Appeal

Last night a special meeting of the Appeal Committee of the Scottish Association was held - Mr Crerar presiding.
The secretary (Mr McDowall) read an appeal from the Clyde against the decision of the committee in ordering the Celtic v Clyde tie to be replayed.
After evidence had been heard the appeal was dismissed by eight votes to seven.
A similar appeal by the Third Lanark, claiming that they had a right to be awarded their tie against Abercorn, was dismissed by eight votes to two.
This was all the business of importance.
The meeting lasted two hours.
