ReviewCeltic started the game. Everton were first to put on pressure., and after fifteen minutes' play Hammond scored. the Celtic warmed to their work after this, and although Everton had somewhat the best of the game, Madden equalised five minutes before the interval. grand play was shown on both sides in the second period, and Everton scored twice.
Final result:- Everton, three; Celtic, One.
