Renton v Celtic – Played at Renton, presence of two thousand spectators. Hannah was absent from Renton, his place being taken by McQuilkie. The Celtic played a beautiful game in the first half, but appeared to take matters more easily than Renton, who had the best of the play. A hard game ended in favour of the Celtic by four goals to nothing.
