- Semi-Final played at Hampden Park. Fernie dropped out with the return of John McPhail. Celtic qualify for their first Scottish Cup Final since 1937.
ReviewIn the last 8 minutes of the game, after Tully had got the third goal, Raith Rovers threw everything at the Celtic to try and find the equaliser. They did everything but score, but the Celtic defense and the crossbar saved the day. Tully played some delightful football by all accounts and his creativity and ingenuity were a joy to behold. About the only conventional thing he did was the swing at the ball which brought the third goal.
