Review
Airdrie's only scoring chance came in the first minute of the game when a terrific shot from Cross was headed off the line by Boden who knocked himself out clearing the ball. After that it was constant Celtic pressure against a young and inexperienced Airdrie team.
Aberdeen fell off the pace when they were beaten at home by Falkirk and Hearts had an away win against Hamilton Accies.
