Review

Celtic have a great first half and Sprake saves the day for Leeds. Jinky is moved to the wing after an hour.
Gemmell opened the scoring from the spot after Sprake had downed Lennox and Celtic were the sharper side in the opening period.

In the second half Leeds scored two fine goals. Firstly Giles cracked a 25 yarder high past Simpson and the second was a delicate precise lob by Lorimer.

The fans saw a fine game in pleasant weather.
