Review

When Joe Davis put Hibs 2-1 ahead with a penalty in the 74th minute no one in Easter Road could have imagined the outcome.

Gemmell had given the Bhoys the lead with a penalty which was cancelled out by McBride with a header and it was all square at half time.

When Davis put away the penalty Celtic went up two gears with a devastating spell of four goals in only five minutes.Hibs buckled under the Celtic pressure and this was a capable team with Stanton, O'Rourke and Cormack in it.
Press reports now describe Celtic as one the best sides of all time.
