Review

This game was a contrast of two goalkeepers. Latchford blundered badly by allowing a Brown shot from 25 yards to squirm away and allowed ex Celt Stevie Hancock a tap in. Minutes later Celtic were awarded a penalty which McCluskey took only for Cruickshank to make a brilliant save.

Celtic tried hard to get back in the game but Hearts looked more likely to score with McGrain clearing off the line at the end.
