Review

36 year old Bobby Lennox turns things round after Falkirk lead at half time. However Davie Provan is man of the match again and is in a scintillating spell of form.

A blunder from Tom McAdam allowed Falkirk in and Leetion scored and Falkirk withstood the Celtic onslaught till well into the second half. They started the second half more cooly and played with more composure and the goal eventually came when Lennox headed home a Doyle cross and a minute later Mike Conroy grabbed a second to put Celtic in front. With the resistance broken Johnny Doyle added the third before Mike Conroy got his second of the day.
