Trivia
- 2nd string players filled out the teams with Riordan and Graveson (dead buried careers starting).
- Match played likely as a package from the recent Georgios Samaras deal
Review
A second string Celtic v Manchester at home gave a run for the youngsters and the rejects in the squad (e.g. Gravesen and Riordan). An entertaining game so Manchester with the edge in possession and play, but the score was 1-1 at the end. Some fine performances by Caddis and McGowan, with the former in particular taking plaudits from the fans. League begins in a few days on Sunday v St Mirren at home.
