Biog

A versatile left-sided performer from the Aberdeen area. Progressed from the Boy’s Club teams in the North East to be handed full-time terms in July 1998. From there he regularly featured in the youth team, usually as a wing back but also capable of playing further up the park should the occasion demand it.

Appears to have departed in 2000 on the expiry of his contract and reverted to the Highlands with Keith FC. Two seasons later he moved to Manchester to study for a degree in Physical Education, also playing non league stuff with Cheshire minnows Newcastle Town and Alsager Town while in the area. Headed north again upon his graduation and re-signed for Keith (alongside ex-Celtic pal Gary Nicol). Proceeded to hit seven Highland League goals from his left wing berth during 2005/6 but apparently didn’t stay on.

An Allan (or, Alan) Fraser was subsequently reported to be banging in goals for HQC in the Inverness and District Division One.

More recently the Wikipedia page of Hong Kong FC heralded their September 2008 capture of “former Glasgow Celtic full back Allan Fraser”. It is believed Fraser is currently teaching PE in the former British colony.
