Notes:
As an interesting piece of Celtic trivia – Audrey Douglas the short-hand typist who witnessed Jock Stein’s signing of this contract was actually Jimmy McGrory’s secretary and she met and subsequently married Celtic Great Willie Fernie whilst working in this capacity at Celtic Park.
At the time of posting (September 2009) they were still happily married some 60+ years later – although sadly Willie is not in the best of health nowadays.
