Lyrics

#When I see you Celtic I go out of my Head,
I just can’t get enough I just can’t get enough,

I cannae wait for Saturday’s, to see you at Parkhead,
I just can’t get enough I just can’t get enough,

Celtic you’re the side I’ll always love, and I just cant seem to get enough of
YOU! DO DO DO DO DO DO DO DO DO DO DO DO DO DO DO DO#

Thai Tims version

#When I’m with you Celtic I go out of my head,
And I just can’t get enough, I just can’t get enough.
All the greats that played for you with clover on their chests,
And I just can’t get enough, I just can’t get enough.
The Thai Tims are singing songs for you,
And I just can’t seem to get enough of…

Dududududududu,Dududududududu, Dududududududu

When we go to Ibrox. There’s nothing there to fear,
And I just can’t get enough, I just can’t get enough.
Hooper scores a hat trick and we all start to cheer,
And I just can’t get enough, I just can’t get enough.
The Title’s on its way to paradise
And I just can’t seem to get enough of….

Dududududududu,Dududududududu, Dududududududu

I just can’t get enough, I just can’t get enough.
I just can’t get enough, I just can’t get enough.
I just can’t get enough, I just can’t get enough.
I just can’t get enough, I just can’t get enough.

Now we’re off to Hampden, There’s excitement in the air,
And I just can’t get enough, I just can’t get enough.
It’s two- nil to Celtic and Paddy gets the pair,
And I just can’t get enough, I just can’t get enough.
Reamonn, Jinky Johnstone and Tommy Burns
Will be smiling down from Heaven on all of us.

Background

Just Can’t Get Enough” was the third UK single by the popular 1980’s synth pop group Depeche Mode. It was originally released in the UK in September 1981, and was also the band’s first single to be released in the United States, on February 18, 1982. It was recorded during the summer of 1981. Popular in retro discos and for old nostalgics.

In 2010, to get all supporters to have their own song (instead of borrowing other clubs tunes) this was chosen by the Green Brigade and quickly caught on. The stadium announcers even began to play the tune to build up atmosphere!

In 2022,Spain’s 90min en Español  ranked ‘Just can’t enough’ by the Celtic as the world’s best football chant!

“In football there are several songs that are used by fans to encourage their team and thus help them to win even if things are not going well. These are some of the most famous chants in the world of football”

Their list included ‘Seven Nation Army’ sung by supporters of Belgian champions Club Brugge, Argentinian giants River Plate fan’s’ ‘Llega el domingo voy a ver al Campeón’ and current Champions League holders Real Madrid follower’s’ ‘Hala Madrid… y nada más’, but it was Celtic’s ‘Just Can’t get enough’ that won out, with Celtic & Liverpool’s version of You’ll Never Walk Alone only taking the runners-up spot.

When it comes to football chants, Spain’s 90min en Español ‘Just can’t enough’ of Celtic fans in full voice.

The Spanish site had compiled a list of ‘the most famous football fans across the globe’ and proclaimed – as reported by Glasgow Live –

“In football there are several songs that are used by fans to encourage their team and thus help them to win even if things are not going well. These are some of the most famous chants in the world of football”

Their list included ‘Seven Nation Army’ sung by supporters of Belgian champions Club Brugge, Argentinian giants River Plate fan’s’ ‘Llega el domingo voy a ver al Campeón’ and current Champions League holders Real Madrid follower’s’ ‘Hala Madrid… y nada más’, but it was Celtic’s ‘Just Can’t get enough’ that won out, with Liverpool’s version of You’ll Never Walk Alone only taking the runners-up spot.

After proclaiming the Celtic supporters take on the Depeche Mode classic the winner, 90min en Español outlined their reasoning for putting the Celtic support top of the pile.
“In 90min we have decided that the first place goes to the fans of Celtic from Scotland, who show that their fans are not just a few hundred but the whole stadium who start a real party in the stands every time ”I Just Can’t Get Enough’ is blasted out.
“Everyone sings, everyone dances, everyone applauds, but no one stands still.”

We may not have the best league in the world, or as much money as the nation state supported clubs in European football, but when it comes to a support, there is no-one better than the Celtic support and their backing for their club – and there is much, much more to football than the game itself!
