Goalkeeper Daniel McGarvey made just a solitary appearance for Celtic in the wartime Regional League.
Due to regular keepers John Hunter and Jimmy Culley being unavailable the Maryhill Harp man was drafted in on December 6th 1941 for a home tie with Dumbarton. Celtic won the game 4-2.
Lost a goal in both halves of the game, but we won with Dumbarton raging that Jimmy Delaney had handled for the third goal. Playing Career
