Biog

Kilsyth Emmet and Scotland Junior Centre-Forward who was given a go in several matches at the end of the 1897/98 Season, allowed to go to Bolton Wanderers in October of the next season. After a season in the reserves in England, he returned to Scotland, was re-instated as an amateur, he had trials with Clydebank, Falkirk and Aberdeen before signing with Bo'ness.

Scored both goals for Celtic on his debut, probably hastening his signing, but, according to his Obituary, had a tendency to go in for "rough play", which might explain his nomadic career.
