Biog

Former Scotland international Patrick Murray was brought to Celtic in November 1902 as the Bhoys sought a talent to fill the problematic outside-right slot.

Murray – who was signed from Nottingham Forest - scored on his debut on November 15th as Celtic defeat Partick Thistle 4-2 in a league tie at Parkhead. The former Hibernian and Preston North End man made a total of 16 Celtic appearances and scored three goals before moving to Portsmouth in 1903 after losing his place to Bobby Muir.
