|6th||1960: Celtic take on Sedan in the Anglo-Franco-Scottish-Friendship Cup. The fitst-leg game is played in Lens and the French club are victorious by 3-0. As part of the tournament rules Celtic wear yellow numbers on the back of their hooped shirts. The second-leg at Parkhead in October would end a 3-3 draw.|
