Biog

James Orr was a Scottish international who signed for Celtic in August 1895.

A former Kilmarnock FC player Orr was signed as cover for Peter Meehan and Dan Doyle. The full-back made his debut in a 6-1 Glasgow Cup defeat of Cambuslang at Parkhead on October 19th. Orr made a total of seven Celtic first team appearances before joining Kilmarnock Athletic in August 1898.

He idieddied in 1942, and is buried in Kilmaurs churchyard.
