Biog
Young attacker handed a three year Pro contract alongside Marco Cortani as part of a trialist 'job lot' from the Lazio region of Italy.
Reportedly a year younger than Cortani on arrival, Sanna had allegedly been attached to Serie C outfit Viterbese (or their 'Primavera' youth team at any rate). His birthdate was advertised in many sources as 17.12.79 which, as the same as Cortani's, must be considered erroneous.
Was restricted to the new fangled under 21 team for his two years at the club, but actually went one better than Cortani by being assigned squad number 34 during 1999/00. Albeit Mark Fotheringham became the youngest ever Celt while snaffling 34 for himself at the end of that season.
With Cortani variously too old for U21 stuff/suffering another serious injury/after a move to Metz and the duo lacking erstwhile guide/mentor Enrico Annoni, they both departed prior to the final year of their contracts in 2000.
