A free scoring striker also capable of holding the ball up, Darragh was reported as being attached to Celtic during the 2006/07 season when he was just 15 years old. He had previously played boy's football in Dublin with Cherry Orchard, Shamrock Rovers and Crumlin United.

He was part of an exceptional year group at Dublin youth team Crumlin United which provided the backbone of the Irish international youth teams for several years in succession. The versatile Richie Towell also moved to Celtic, while centre back and right winger Gavin Gunning and Aaron Doran were snapped up by Blackburn Rovers. The goalkeeper Gavin Carlin went to West Bromwich Albion while John Sullivan and Pauric Ormsby were handed pro forms by Hamilton Accies. Forward Paul Murphy ended up at Ipswich Town.

In many people's eyes the pick of the bunch was midfielder Conor Clifford, who was handed a €3m, five year contract with London powerhouse Chelsea. Within the Irish youth setup Clifford is often spoken of in the same breath as James McCarthy of Wigan Athletic.

Satelle joined the Academy of unfashionable Hull City FC in April 2008, from Crumlin United where he had obviously returned. He has since been a regular scorer at youth and reserve level for 'the tigers' and looked set for a successful career in the game. Released by Hull 28.6.10 after their Premier League relegation and trialled with Bray Wanderers and Bohemians in July 2010, missing out on a contract due to the Irish clubs' financial constraints.

He continues to be picked for the Irish National squads the last outing being with the U17's.
