Biog

Ex Scottish Youth international; Released from Hibernian Youth May 09; trained with Livingston but not picked up by them; invited by Mowbray and Venus to train with Celtic Reserves and almost immediately offered a 1 year deal with another year to follow if things went right; 6ft 2in; had time out on loan w Berwick Rangers whilst at Hibs; describes as "….the softest 6 feet 2 centre half you ever could meet. "

Dad Ronnie was a keeper on Celtic's books 1972-74 who went on to play with Berwick Rangers. Blair's first coach at Leith Athletic BC was his uncle, ex-Hibs legend Alex Cropley. Attended St. Mary's and Holyrood Secondary, grew up living next door to the Cropleys (Ronnie and Alex's wives were sisters).

Given a chance in end of season friendlies v. AZ 28.4.10 and St. Pauli 18.5.10.

Spotted playing for Arniston Rangers in August 2010, along with his cousin and team-mate from Hibs Jordan Cropley. Tadg Moriarty is the Junior team's captain.
