Did the late Brian McLaughlin (RIP) were no.8 the day he got his terrible injury of that thug from Clyde, to mark us doing 8 in a row? Do you find this valuable?

A quick reply - he did - the whole team wore number 8 on their shorts - it was the first home game of the 1973/74 season and it was to celebrate 8 in a row - Celtic won 5-0 and Danny McGrain scored.

Glad you never mentioned said thug by name. He played for a few years in Scottish football after that assault, unlike Neil Simpson.
