Is there a source for this claim? The Real Madrid v Celtic match in 1967 for Alfred di Stefano's testimonial would have been my shout for the largest testimonial crowd. Estimates range from 120,000 to 135,000 for that game.Pele's testimonial match was also reported as being played in front of 76,000 fans in 1977 at the New York Giants stadium. http://soccer365.com/match_reports/story_11009192454.php Do you find this valuable?

Yes meant to be 125,000 at Di Stefanos, i did read the Roy Keane testimonial against us was 69,591 which was 3,000 more than Ryan Giggs.
