There are many wonderful memories of past European games to cherish, but the most exciting memory I have is the headed goal Billy McNeill scored, from Charlie Gallagher's corner against Vodjdovina Novi Sad, on the way to a semi-final against Dukla Prague and eventual success in the European final against Inter Milan in 1967.A blown-up photograph of the goal being scored adorned the gantry of the bar that Billy owned in Mossend, Bellshill. In my mind's eye, I can still see it ! 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
