  • Celtic play in a smart new all green strip with white numbers on shorts

Review

Celtic were so dominant that it could have been a double figure scoreline. Jock Stein's Bhoys gave a taste of things to come in the years ahead as Jim Baxter's Sunderland were blown away. Bertie Auld came on for the last 10 minutes after McBride injured a knee, with John Hughes going to centre forward and Bertie taking the outside left position.
