CELTIC v RANGERS – Played before 5000 spectators. The Celtic were reinforced by Dowds (Aston Villa) and Cassidy (Newton Heath). The Rangers started against the breeze. Once or twice a nastiness was imparted into the play which was disgraceful to teams of their standing. It was the worst charity final seen for some time. Result :- Celtic five goals; Rangers, nil
