Review

St Johnstone put up a strong fight in the first half and their keeper Donaldson was in excellent form. Despite that Celtic went to town in the second half with Jimmy Johnstone scoring a peach of a goal to put Celtic ahead weaving his way through the defence to then hit a great shot. Six minutes later he got a second with a volley. Clamers and Lennox added a further two goals before the end.
