Signed on recommendation of NE scout George Adams in May 1998, at the same time as Westhill team-mate Paul Lawson and Albion Boys' Shaun Maloney. Scored 30+ goals from midfield in all-conquering Westhill BC U14s.

Eventually released and back home with Links United. Thornton Hibs Juniors?
