Biog

Signed as an amateur right-half John Wylie made just a single appearance for Celtic when he was part of the side which lost 5-3 at Hearts in a Regional League tie on February 13 1943. It was war-time and Celtic were abject in the war. John Wylie got a single one-off game and sadly was on he wrong end of the result.

John was released soon afterwards and later signed for Petershill Juniors.
