Review

Played at Bolton before 10,000 spectators. the Celtic were without four good men, and the Wanderers, minus Cassidy. In the first half play commenced briskly, the Wanderers gaining an abortive corner, and a goal from the foot of Weir in the first five minutes. McNee followed with a second, and before the interval the same player was responsible for a third. The second half was more even, but the Bolton men had more close shots. Weir scored a fourth, the wanderers ultimately winning by four to none.
