Celtic v Johnstone – This match took place at Celtic Park, Glasgow, last night, in presence of a fair turnout of spectators. McMahon figured in the Celtic team, with Blessington, Dunbar, and Dowds. Johnstone scored in the first few minutes, and led at half-time by one goal to nil. The Celts pressed hard, but could not score, Towards the middle of the second half the home team equalised and McMahon gave them the lead. Just on time Johnstone again scored. A good game thus ended in a draw of two goals each.
Sandy McMahon, of the Celtic Football Club, who went to Nottingham recently to play for Notts Forest Club,has returned to Glasgow and will play for Celtic during the coming season.
