Review
“Anderson `s Match”! If Kenny Anderson hadn`t been in the form of his life then Celtic would have won this fixture. Time after time the Scottish International `keeper defied the rampaging Celtic attack while his front five stole away to score the goals which gave the Amateurs the two points. It took the visitors just three minutes to score, Dod Allan beating Anderson all ends up but they couldn`t capitalise on their superiority and Willie Berry`s long range effort sailed past Dan McArthur for the equaliser and as Mr.McIntyre raised the whistle to his mouth to end the half, Davie Wilson with another shot from distance also beat McArthur. Sixty seconds into the homeward run, Johnny Campbell unleashed a rocket which even Anderson couldn`t reach to level again but Wylie took advantage of a slip by Dan Doyle to regain the Spiders lead and Willie Stewart put the icing on the Spiders cake with a fourth near the end.
