Quinn, the hero of the hour, was absolutely rampant in the second half.

Willie Maley was not there because he was at the Crystal Palace watching Manchester City, managed by his brother Tom Maley, win the English Cup beating Bolton Wanderers 1-0.

It was the only time that brothers had won the Scottish and English Cup as managers in the same season.

In Scotland, Third Lanark beat Dundee to win the Scottish League for the only time.
