Review

Very nearly lost a goal in seconds when Stein's pass back to Bonnar was short and reilly steaming in almost nicked the ball. Bonnar went flying and the ball went the other way with Fallon arriving to clear it. Hibs first goal wasn't long in coming. Baillie gave away a free kick on the 18 yard line and Turnbull fired it home with Bonnar well beaten. Celtic's attacks were not coming to much but Tully, Collins and Peacock all had their moments. Celtic scored when a Collins shot bounced off of Younger's chest and Walsh was there to stab in the equaliser. The second half started evenly but Hibs got the second goal when Johnstone passed to Smith and his cross was headed home by reilly headed home. Six minutes from the fianl whistle Hibs made it 3-1 when Johnstone and reilly went on a breakaway and johnstone scored.
