Review

The headline described it as "Neither Team great Shakes in this Charity Cup-Tie".
The teams played out a dull 0-0 draw with Celtic far from inspiring and the match was won by Clyde on the toss of a coin. Bobby Evans showed his aptitude for playing as a forward. Evans beat the Clyde goalkeeper but his goal-bound header was cleared off the line by Haddock. Neither team sparkled in attack. Clyde had the ball in the net in the second half but the effort was ruled offside. Clyde appeared to most certainly have the best of the second half with Bonnar having to make some crucial saves.
