Review

A poor game by all reports. Having beaten Rangers 5-3 in the Glasgow Cup Final on Boxing Day celtic duly lost the next game against the blue rivals, and lost it when they could and should have won. Rae sustained an injury and for much of the game was out of the play. Beattie made another error of judgement in coming for a long punt out nd was beaten to the ball and lobbed by Kichenbrand. Though Rangers game was one dimensional their defense stood strong and the Celtic attack wavered with Sharkey well subdued and only Collins and Fernie ready to have a go.Three minutes from time Caldow pulled Mochan down from behind in the penalty area with the referee failing to see the infringement.
