Review

Tully's presence was very much missed and Celtic lacked the craft they had shown so far this season. Both teams had chances with Beattie called into action and Mochan hitting the post but it remained goal-les at half time.
The game proceeded pretty much in the same manner with Celtic pressing without success. Fallon was called in to make a goal-line clearance. In the end a point was all that either team deserved from a game lacking in guile and accurate shooting. jackson had a decent wenouigh debut at outside right to confirm the view of him held by Reserv team coach Jock Stein.
