Review

An end to the opening run of defeats with a 2-0 win at home. O'Hara had a good debut and generally added to the improving team prospects. Conway's opener came when Peacock and Divers combined to draw centre half Toner out of position. Despite strong pressure it remained 1-0 at half time. Carroll picked up a leg injury in the second half. Divers scored from a corner taken by Conway.
