Review

Aberdeen started fast and had the better of the early exchanges. Celtic gradually got back into the game. Celtic opened the scoring from the penalty spot when Mochan was brought down by Kinnell. Smiler took the spot kick himself and scored. Five minutes later Aberdeen were level when Kinnell placed a strong shot from a free kick past Haffey.
The Dons went ahead after 52 minutes when Haffey failed toi cut out a cross and Davidson headed home. Davidson was booked not long after. Celtic got a second penalty for another infringement against Mochan and he converted the kick again. With it all level Brownlee found a winner for the Dons with 2 minutes to go.
