Review

A rain soaked game which no doubt kept the numbers attending down.
Perhaps tyhe rain affected the game but the Celtic forwards fauiled tyo find the rhythm that had set them uop so well against SAirdrie. They had the majority opf the play but failed to gel in the same way and were profligate in front of goal. Hughes, Fernie and Chalmers all missed simple chances. St Johnstone took the lead with a low shot that beat Haffey. fernie equalised direct from a corner when his corner hit the underside of the bar and Taylo in attempting to punch it clear only managed to palm it into the net.
