Review

A game of doing everything but scoring. In the first half both John Hughes and Charlie Gallacher hit the woodwork and despite many chances in the second, the ball just would not go in the net. The Dundee goal came from a mistake from the usually impeccable Jim Kennedy. Kennedy won the ball on the left from a Dundee attack but allowed himself to be robbed and Smith shot the ball home. This left all the teams in Group 2 with a win a piece and all to play for.
