Review

Quite a rousing if futile game in the pursuit of second place in the League. Hearts went two goals up before Celtic levelled then went ahead. But a late rally by Hearts saw them take all the points.
Hearts dominated the first half which saw them go two goals clear. In the second half Celtic gave the ball more to Johnstone, in his second first team game, and Jinky had a field day. Chalmers and Divers pulled the score level and then the wee magician scored a great individual goal which would become a trademark shimmying past several defenders before making room for himself and shooting hame. Hearts however came back to score two goals to take the points. Haffey had a great game for Celtic in goal.
