Review

Kilmarnock only showed any dominance at the start of either half. For the rest of the time Celtic had the upper hand with their forwards playing well together. Divers ot the first goal and then the crowd had to wait till just before half time before Hughes slammed in the second after a well taken free kick by John Clark. Hughes second came after a series of corners. Five minutes before the end he got his hatrick heading in a Johnstone cross and not to be kept off the score sheet Jinky added a fifth a minute after. this was John Hughes’ game.
