Review

The Bhoys hit another six goals to make it 51 goals scored so far this season. They started quietly enough but even so were 2-0 up at half time with goals from Jimmy Johnstone and Bobby Lennox. In the second half they cut loose with Lennox and Johnstone adding to their firsat half goals and Joe McBride scoring two. He even had the luxury of missing a penalty – the first he had missed since taking over spot kick duties. Some tough tackling led to three bookings. McCarry and Johnstone were booked and Murdoch received his second booking in two games.
