  • This was said to have been Accies' last game at Douglas Park before the merger with Clyde on August 28th but it broke down.
  • A 6:45 pm kick off.
  • In goal was the young trialist from Sligo Rovers, Tom Lally. Pat McCluskey and John Gorman were the full backs with Dalglish, Brogan and John Clark across the middle. Tony McBride was outside right and Willie Wallace saw out his purdah from the sending off at Clyde with an appearance here. Stevie Chalmers led the line with Ian Hall and Ward White on the left and Vic Davidson as sub.
