  • Benefit for 3 County players, Don McMillan (ex Celt), Peter Borley and Colin Brett.
  • Borley played his last match for County on October 17th before taking ill and died on December 2nd.
  • On the 31st August Willie Wallace went up in front of the Referees Committee of the SFA for his sending off in the League Cup game against Clyde on 19th August. was suspended for 21 days and fined £40 with his suspension starting immediately. This would bar him from the League Cup quarter finals and the opening match in Celtic's European campaign as well as the Glasgow Derby.
