Review

A second half flurry of goals saw the Bhoys home comfortable winners against a Kilmarnock team that failed to weather the storm. They held up to Celtic well in the first half conceding just the one goal from Jinky. Lou Macari came off after half an hour after going over on an ankle.
Kenny Dalglish showed himself as probably the most complete footballer the club had produced for some time.
