Review

The huge Celtic support inside Firhill look on in dismay as Celtic go down tamely with Thistle deserved winners. The absence of McGrain, Stanton and Conn cannot be underestimated.
The midfield of McLaughlin, Glavin and Burns had a mare of a game and were second to every ball and Celtic never got to grips with the game.

Celtic had a decent claim for a penalty when Rough brought McAdam down in the area. Other than that there was no inspiration in the team.
