Trivia

  • Celtic's first home league game for 8 weeks since December 5th.
  • A power failure at half time caused most of the floodlights to go out but the referee surprisingly allowed play to continue in the gloom.
  • Celtic fail in £200,000 bid for Sandy Clark of Airdrie.

Review

Hibs' defensive tactics frustrated Celtic. Celts attacked constantly but lacked sharpness up front. Young Halpin was thrown on near the end to add width but it's clear Celtic miss Provan's talents on the wing.

With a minute left Duncan raced through on goal only for Bonner to save Celtic's blushes.
