Review

10 man Celtic retrieved a point with a brilliant goal by Mark McGhee as he spectacularly headed an Aitken cross into the net.
Celtic had the better of the first half, Walker hitting the post and Smith making a great save from a McGhee shot before John Colquhoun's long-range effort opened the scoring.
Things looked bleak for Celtic when Mick McCarthy was sent off early in the second half but Roy Aitken then grabbed the game by the scruff of the neck and drove Celtic on in search of an equaliser. It came after Aitken slammed a freekick into the Hearts wall then picked up the rebound and made for the byline, where a bit of fancy footwork made enough space to hang a cross for McGhee to head in. Cue scenes of bedlam on the terraces behind the Hearts goal.
